The Appropriate Workstation for Using Computer (Revision)

The content of this blog is about the appropriate workstation for using computer This may sound insignificant to you, but the greatest wealth is health. Besides that, a comfortable and appropriate workstation affects your works too. So below are some tips for you to have the appropriate workstation in your house, office, etc.

     Adjustable Office Chairs

Basically, adjustable means you can control or you can make it into what do you want it to be. By adjusting the perfect position of sitting, you can comfortably do your jobs. This kind of chair has a good backrest with a lumbar(curved lower back) support. It also has an adjustable backrest height for you to control the height of the chair that suits you. Studies show that the best position is actually the reclined 100-110 degrees not the upright 90 degrees that are usually portrayed.

     Chair Armrest

Having armrest may be useful to aid getting into or out the chair. Ideally, armrests should be height adjustable and able to be turned inwards or outwards. We can also place our hands in the armrest when we are relaxing, taking a break from using the computer, texting messages or etc. Having an adjustable armrest is very useful because you can remove the armrest if you do not want it to be there, maybe while you are typing because it may distract you. Sometimes, you got a chair with a very low armrest or a too high armrest which may distract your comfort. Thus, it is important to have an armrest chair or even an adjustable armrest chair would definitely be a better choice.

     Seats with Backrests

Seat with backrest is definitely a must. It may serve us with comfort. An adjustable backrest is obviously a better choice. An angle of 100-120 degrees will be the perfect spot for users. Backrests are also useful for users to relax themselves in between their works which use computers.

     Scalloped Desk

Studies show that  compared with a straight edged desk for computer-based work, a
scalloped desktop (which has a shallow curve cut out at the center) provides you more opportunities for forearm support, greater desktop space and better work postures.
